with our clients. We have enjoyed a long relationship with First Union National
Bank and now have the opportunity to work with Wachovia following the merger
with First Union.
GFI's first project with Wachovia was to update the highly traditional branch
bank in the James Center with a more transitional style. Dark wood and marble
give the space a sense of history while the furniture and lighting lend
a modern flair. GFI's space planning and design aimed to make the space
more efficient for employees and more inviting for guests.
For First Union, we used our experience to implement a corporate re-stack
at the bank's Virginia headquarters in Richmond. We also helped recently-acquired
banks become First Union branches. And through all these projects, GFI kept
the client's needs and objectives paramount while providing the best possible
design solutions. |
